(Family \u2020Palaeoeuscorpiidae)<\/p>\n<h2>\n<strong>Key morphological traits<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n<p><strong data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"578\">Carapace:\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Smooth to finely granular; no strong dorsal keels; 2 lateral eyes \/ side + median pair<br \/>\n<strong data-start=\"987\" data-end=\"1006\">Metasoma (tail): \u00a0 <\/strong>Stout segments I\u2013IV short, weakly carinate; segment V slightly longer and slender<br \/>\n<strong data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1106\">Telson: <\/strong>Pear-shaped vesicle, laterally rounded; <strong data-start=\"1149\" data-end=\"1175\">no subaculear tubercle<\/strong>; aculeus (sting) intact, gently curved<br \/>\n<strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1235\">Walking legs: <\/strong>Slender, smooth; paired ungues preserved; no tibial spurs<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preservation notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inclusion is incomplete, however it is buffered by clear amber. Telson is fully visible. Minor flow lines, micro bubbles and other paleobiota, outer amber-skin exposed on edge, incomplete scorpion.
