Amber comes in many colours and varieties although in recent years driven by Chinese market we see prices for clear yellow/orange/red pieces of amber being highest prices.
This particular small insect has closed wings and it is frozen inside the amber, placing this organism at about 100 million approximate years old from the time that it was alive. The features of this small insect can be studied at microscopic level to learn new details of natural history. It is also fitting for a good collector.
