Very large rough Burmite amber from Kachin State Myanmar.
This piece of amber is rough so therefore it contains the mother rock (skin) which surrounds the amber. The price of rough Myanmar amber is due to its rarity and also the speculative component of not being able to entirely discern the contents of the stone without removal of the skin. This stone is intact and the way it came out of the ground, from mother nature.
It is 100 million year old fossilized tree resin from the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar.
