This is an uncharacteristically large chunk of clear yellow Burmite amber, a slab of considerable size, which contains segments of prehistoric flora trapped inside. It is highly rare to find such a specimen of amber with such a wide base. Myanmar amber rarely forms in this fashion without cracks or other flaws.
