This is a very large stick insect phasmodea inside Cretaceous Burmite Amber. The piece of amber is very clear yellow and the stick insect has a high degree of preservation. Of additional interest in this specimen is that it also contains another well preserved insect (see photos), and on the lower edge of the amber it also appears to contain skin from vertebrate animal.
