Product Description

This significant Burmite Amber specimen features a rare “predator and prey” or “shared habitat” association from the mid-Cretaceous forest floor. The piece is shaped as a thin, high-clarity lens, which provides an undistorted view of the ancient life within.

  • The Primary Subject (Centipede): A well-articulated, many-legged Centipede (Chilopoda). It is positioned with its trunk slightly curved, showing the characteristic segmentation and individual pairs of legs. The ultimate (rear) legs are particularly long and well-preserved.
