Description

This specimen contains a finely preserved assassin bug belonging to the family Reduviidae, likely within the thread-legged subfamily Emesinae. These predatory Hemipterans are recognized by their extremely long, slender legs, narrow elongated head, and multi-segmented antennae—features clearly visible in this piece. The specimen shows the characteristic heteropteran body plan, including a narrow, elongated thorax and a pair of partially preserved hemelytra (forewings) with visible venation.
