$180.00 $160.00

Description

This beautiful Cretaceous amber specimen contains an exceptionally well-preserved neuropteran-type insect, likely a lacewing or lacewing-relative, displaying exquisitely detailed wing venation and an elongated, intact body. The preservation includes:

  • Two beautifully visible forewings with clearly etched venation

  • A nearly complete abdomen and thorax with greenish internal coloration from mineralization

  • Long, slender antennae and partially preserved legs

  • Associated micro-arthropods and debris indicating a natural forest-floor trapping event

The amber is polished in a smooth freeform shape with excellent clarity, making this an ideal specimen for macro photography, microscopy, or high-end display.
