Description
This is a blade of a leaf from a prehistoric Metasequoia tree, which is believed to be a tree responsible for the large amounts of resin believed to have pooled at the bottom of the forest floor in what is now known as the Hukawng Valley, where remarkably preserved plants and animals are found entombed in amber.
