A small insect found its end entangled in a mess of other fluids and substances of unknown origin on a bed of clear yellow tree resin from the massive forests of the Hukawng Valley 100 million years ago. The insect’s wing is well preserved and inclusions very specific wing venation which can be used to compare with other specimens known to the international scientific community.
This piece of amber contains creamy/fatty inclusions — a curious an unknown substance, which requires further study.
