Description
This is a scientifically significant Orthoptera nymph (likely Ensifera-grade: cricket / katydid lineage) preserved in Cretaceous Burmese amber.
The specimen exhibits extremely elongated antennae, raptorial or cursorial forelegs, and a distinct elongate prothorax, all typical of early-branching orthopteroids. Preservation clarity is excellent, with strong contrast against the golden resin matrix and minimal fracturing.
