Description

Two insects were trapped together until time immemorial in this particularly small and bright, glowing piece of prehistoric resin (which we now call amber).

These two insects once roamed the Hukawng Valley in what is now known as Kachin State in Northern Myanmar before they died inside sticky tree resin. Now, after polish, these marvellous specimens are offered by the Kachin Amber Research Institute for a new home foor further research and support for stewardship and equipment by KARI at our Sumprabum headquarters.

We very hope you enjoy this piece for as long as Cretaceous period (100 million years).
