An insect is lounging in the corner of this humongous, fist-sized chunk of polished Myanmar amber. The colour of the amber is a glowing brownish-red, especially when in the brightness of day.
This particular piece of amber is very large, however the insect is of moderate (not small) size. Cretaceous seed pods can also be found in this piece of amber.
